Bel🩷ved Study Co.™ began with a simple but deeply held belief: every child deserves to know they are fully known, deeply loved and intentionally made by God.
Founded by Christian children’s author, educator and neurodivergent mother Emma Ewer, Bel🩷ved grew from a lifetime of loving children, noticing the ones who experience the world differently and wanting to create what Emma wished more children and families could find—beautiful, Christ-centred stories and resources that make room for every child to belong.
As an autistic and ADHD woman raising neurodivergent children, Emma understands what it can feel like to move through a world that is often too loud, too fast or not designed with you in mind. Her experience across early childhood education, outdoor education, disability support and ministry has allowed her to walk alongside children and families in many different seasons.
Again and again, she saw the same quiet questions beneath the surface:
Who am I?
Do I belong?
Was I made this way for a reason?
Does God truly see me?
Bel🩷ved Study Co. was created to answer those questions with the truth of God’s Word:
You are known.
You are loved.
You are not a mistake.
You were made on purpose.
Where the story began
The first story to emerge from this calling was Made on Purpose™, featuring Ezra Fox™—a sensitive little fox learning that his unique way of experiencing the world is not something he needs to hide.
Through a tender encounter with the Shepherd, Ezra discovers that his need for quiet is understood, his differences carry purpose and he is deeply loved exactly as God made him.
Ezra’s story became the beginning of The Beloved Woods™: a gentle story world where children can recognise parts of themselves, encounter biblical truth and discover that belonging does not require them to become someone else first.
For Emma, Made on Purpose is more than a book. It is an act of obedience and a message for every child who has ever felt different, overlooked or overwhelmed:
God sees you. God knows you. God delights in the person He created you to be.
What Bel🩷ved is becoming
What began with one story is growing into a joyful Christian publishing and creative studio serving children, families, educators, churches and communities.
Through books, inclusive resources, faith-filled apparel, thoughtful gifts and meaningful everyday treasures, everything we create is designed to nurture faith, identity, belonging and joy.
We believe accessibility is hospitality—it is not optional.
That means creating with neurodivergent children in mind, protecting emotional and sensory safety, communicating with gentleness and making space for children to participate without pressure. We want families to encounter resources that are not only beautiful, but thoughtful, welcoming and genuinely useful.
We also believe Christian creativity does not need to be colourless or confined. Bel🩷ved is warm, expressive, hope-filled and joyfully abundant—a place where faith and creativity belong together and where beauty helps carry truth into everyday life.
The heart behind everything
God remains at the centre of Bel🩷ved Study Co.
We pray before we plan. We choose stewardship over striving, purpose over pressure and faithful obedience over hurried growth. We will never use fear, shame or manipulation to sell a product or tell a story.
Our hope is not simply to build a catalogue. It is to create a lasting body of work that serves families well, honours God and gently reminds children of who they are in Him.
Bel🩷ved is still being written, one faithful yes at a time.
And through every book, character, resource and gathering, the message remains the same:
